The beginning.
As with most small businesses, fh group has evolved from humble beginnings. Founded in 1981 as a one-man Erie advertising agency out of Partner and company founder Gary Fritts' basement, the Company moved to the "upgraded" office (a meat market with the photography studio literally in a meat cooler) in 1983. A few other relocations later, fh group is firmly planted in its current space at 2320 W 8th Street in Erie, PA.
The vision.
As fh group's creative visionary for 25 years, Gary recognized early that technology such as the Internet, Web application development and other electronic media would become a paramount component of any marketing strategy and an important way to communicate to customers in the future. With this vision, Gary transitioned his business in 2002 from a more traditional advertising agency to one more focused on all things Web.
A transformation to be proud of.
Through Gary's many years in business, he understood the importance of a succession plan and a need for fresh ideas in order to grow the business. In late 2006, he brought on his son, Andy Fritts, as Partner and CMO to ensure long-term growth of the company. With the complement of Andy’s insight and creative vision, fh group has transformed again from a three-person shop to an 11-person integrated marketing operation over the course of three years.
